Its been a while since I last updated my blog. Maybe its about time to do some updating.
I recently went up to Korea for a holiday with my gf and her parents. It was a very pleasant trip and very relaxing too. A good break from work and to recharge myself.
Basically, I know nothing much about South Korea except for their electronic gadgets, computer related products as well as their cars.. I don't watch drama so needless to say I know nothing about their movie stars or beautiful scenery from different scenes... But generally, its a very nice place to relax. The people are rather nice (though I don't know what they are talking about) and they have smile on their face when they serve us.
The food there is not bad. But it gets monotonous after a while because you will get to see Kimchi in every meal you eat and I mean EVERY meal. It seems like pork is cheap meat product there because we often have that. But beef and chicken seem to be a rarity. We only had 2 meals with chicken in it, one is the Ginseng Chicken and the other is a chicken hotplate.
I guess the best thing about Korea personally is skiing. I have not tried skiing before but I must say that I love it. It was very fun and quite tiring. Sure would like to try again if given the chance. :)
